Yesterday at Codex we welcomed the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Matjaž Han, State secretary for Internationalization, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Wood, and the Internal Market MA. Dejan Židan, Minister without Portfolio for Development and European Cohesion Policy Dr. Aleksander Jevšek, deputy mayor in temporary performance of the position of mayor of Murska Sobota municipality Zoran Hoblaj, candidate for mayor of Murska Sobota municipality Damjan Anželj (SD), and a member of Parliament Damijan Zrim.
The delegation made a tour of Codex’s latest significant investment – new business premises with the laboratory for quality inspection and a logistics centre with increased storage space – co-financed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
We concluded the visit with a short meeting where we discussed the industry’s current challenges, the energy crisis, labor shortage, and the ministry’s activities.
