We are proud to announce that Codex has officially joined SRIP ACS+, the Strategic Research and Innovation Partnership in the field of mobility. This step marks an important milestone in our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and growth within the Slovenian and European automotive sectors.
SRIP ACS+ is a key partnership that unites two leading Slovenian industry associations: the ACS Automotive Cluster of Slovenia and the Transport Association at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. Together, they support a strong and competitive mobility ecosystem that contributes significantly to the national economy.
The Slovenian automotive industry accounts for approximately 10% of the country’s GDP and more than 20% of total exports. When combined with other fields of mobility represented in SRIP ACS+, members contribute to over 17% of Slovenia’s GDP. With more than 100 Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and over 600 sub-suppliers in the value chain, the sector generates around €7.5 billion in annual revenue. The industry also leads in innovation, producing over 25% of all award-winning innovations in Slovenia each year.
By joining SRIP ACS+, Codex becomes part of a powerful network that brings together companies from various engineering and manufacturing industries—metalworking, electronics, rubber, chemical, textile, and transport equipment—alongside top R&D institutions and service providers in the supply chain.
As a member of SRIP ACS+, Codex gains access to valuable opportunities for collaboration, research, product development, and international integration. We look forward to contributing our expertise in bearings and power transmission solutions, and to working alongside other members to drive innovation and build a more sustainable, connected future in mobility.
