As part of a government visit to the Pomurje region, a delegation from the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology visited Codex on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021. The delegates visited the company’s laboratory and logistics centre and concluded their visit with a work’s meeting to discuss the current challenges that our company Codex faces. During the visit Minister Zdravko Počivalšek expressed his content that the Ministry was able to support Codex through the development aid programme since each employee at companies such as Codex creates more than three times the added value of an employee than that of the average of the region.

 


As part of a government visit to the Pomurje region, a delegation from the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology visited Codex on Tuesday, November 23rd, 2021.

 

The delegation of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Zdravko Počivalšek, Director General of the Internationalisation, Entrepreneurship, and Technology Directorate Jernej Salecl, and Acting Director-General of the Tourism Directorate Ksenija Flegar first visited the logistics centre and the new quality control laboratory then continued with a meeting with Codex`s management.

 

 

The guests were introduced to the most recent, major investment of the company – a new laboratory, enlarged warehouse, and new HQ offices which were also partly funded by the government. At the meeting, they discussed the challenges and needs of the company, the opportunities in Slovenia and abroad, and the challenges faced in obtaining the right staff.

 

The Minister expressed his content that through development aid they were able to support a company such as Codex that can create more than three times the added value of an employee than that of the average of the region and allows us to keep talented people within the Pomurje region.
